Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, or Eastern Hospital for short, is a regional general hospital located in Chai Wan, Eastern District of Hong Kong Island. It was established in October 1993 and named after his wife in memory of the late Governor Sir Youde. , "Nethersole" in the name of the hospital originated from Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital. The hospital is the leading hospital in the Hong Kong Island East cluster of the Hospital Authority. It is also the first general hospital in Hong Kong that provides acute psychiatric inpatient services, providing comprehensive specialist services to residents of Hong Kong Island East.
